This manufactured home sits on the largest lot in the park and is situated on a corner at the entrance with only one neighbor. The home feels secluded and has unobstructed mountain views. When we purchased this property 6 years ago, we wanted to find a place for our mom that was inviting, friendly and well maintained. We definitely found that place here at The Gates Of Spain. The community here takes pride in keeping their homes nice and the management do a great job of maintaining all of the common use facilities. Neighbors here are friendly and kind. The clubhouse and community center as well as the pool, spa, billiards room and other recreational areas are all very well kept by staff. 


KITCHEN


The flooring in the kitchen was the first thing that we decided to update upon buying the home. We opted to install real hardwood and later extended the hardwood installation throughout the family room, laundry room and guest bathroom. This really transformed the look of the home. We then installed a custom dining nook table in the kitchen which created a very cozy and inviting feeling. The most notable impact to the kitchen came in refinishing all of the cabinets. Next, we widened the refrigerator area to allow for a larger modern french door refrigerator. To further enhance the ambience in the kitchen area,  we installed (3) zones of modern recessed dimmable lighting.


BATHROOMS


The master bathroom has newly installed grey wood toned flooring. This large master bathroom has a shower, a bathtub, new dual sink vanity, a dedicated makeup counter and a large closet. The guest bathroom has the same style new hardwood floor as the kitchen, family room and laundry room. Additionally, the guest bathroom has newly refinished cabinets, fresh paint and new shower fixtures. 


LIVING ROOM & DINING ROOM


The vaulted ceilings in the living room and dining room add the perfect character to this home. Rather than alter the cabin style feel of the living room and dining room, we opted to keep these areas true to the original design. We updated the dining room light to offer a slightly more modern feel. 


CENTRAL HEATING & COOLING


Being in the desert region, it is important to have a quality central heating and cooling system for the hotter summer months and cooler winter months. While it was a hefty $20,000 investment, updating and replacing the old forced air system was essential and the new system has a modern high efficiency rating.


APPLIANCES


 Appliances have been replaced and updated including a brand new washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, range top, garbage disposal and a 2nd bonus refrigerator in the enclosed shed outside. The oven has not been replaced but it works great. 


PATIOS & CARPORT


One of the best features of this home are the two pergola style patios located at the front of the home. Each of the (2) front patios as well as the carport at the back of the property were renovated and rebuilt this past year. Beyond the wonderful views, these patios are a place to sit in the evenings and relax. The carport at the back extends the full length of the unit and offers ample space for 2 cars. There is also a covered backyard patio area. 


GENERAL


Where needed, we have painted and performed general repairs and maintenance. To the best of our knowledge, there are no major issues with this home. There are no leaks or pests and no issues with the roof or foundation. 


HOA


Current HOA rate information will be available by calling the Gates Of Spain office directly. Your HOA monthly rate covers your space fee, trash service, communal areas as well as on site management.
